IAmA

My congresswoman
writes to me
from the great above

I set my mind
on the great below
I find myself

in the forest between her
and her cubs
a style

she’s trying to maintain
I’m going with her
don’t care where

you go
beyond the southwest desert
deep inside another

country
Alaska accepts its
inset this

big thing she’s told me
knows my chemistries
and slips

from its sequence
so believably
I ask the daughter of the god

of the seals to help me
pin that drunkard down
he changes

into a lung a law the hawk
that makes it
half way across the hawk

that makes it all
the way
across

the sea
is a box
for a more classier city

my representative says
we
by the way

she pronounces fire
and bayou
I know they can rhyme

but this little light of mine
gets hidden
from time

by a tongue
of the direct kind
flickering

if you see her tell her
I am easily
Lost

at roads that
touch
I make a deal with the weevil

of expanding
sadness
when I get back don’t be here

next time I look
at a square
it’s an affront

a design
a district to the eye
packing

desire
onto an edge of them there
